APRIL -- Full Moon Magick

Today in an interview for Rogelia's House of Magic, the interviewer asked me for my favorite spell and so here it is.

One the night on the full moon (which will be Sunday, April 20) this month, I take my jewelry that have crystals, precious stones, or semi-precious stones to the ocean and rinse the jewelry of old energy. You can also just use salt water if it's easier. Personally I dig the ocean vibe, and I live close by, so that's why I do it this way. Try and get kosher or dead sea salt if possible, otherwise, don't worry your pretty little head about it. Then I lay out a scarf, or sarong, or nice piece of material outside where the moon will shine on my jewels for at least one hour during the night. You can also do this on a windowsill or balcony. I place my jewelry on the material.

I look up to the full moon, allowing the feminine, creative energy of the moon and her fullness to fill me up. I hold my hands palm up, like I'm receiving her goodness. At this point I make a wish, one wish so that all my energy is really focused. I might ask for anything from hoping for more joy in my life, to a better relationship with my husband, or kids, or mother or sister, to more money in my job, to shaving off those couple of pounds, to successful book sales, to a good night's rest. You can end your wish by affirming that the universe is making plans to make your dreams come true with this saying. "I ask for this or better by the light of the moon. By my will so mote it be, three times three, times three." Leave your jewelry to soak up the moon's energy and your desire over night. When you next wear your jewelry, you will be reminded that your desires are already coming true. Trust that the Universe has grand plans for you and is always ready with every resource possible to fulfill your desires (hence the "this or better" line). Gracefully wait, keeping your eyes and hands open for your abundance.
